Research Interests: strategic psychotherapy; hypnotic psychotherapy; hypnosis; hypnotherapy; dissociation
Integrating hypnosis in psychotherapy is a challenging task. The challenge is concealed in the diversity of approaches and theoretical orientations of professionals that study and use hypnosis in their practice. The intricacy of hypnosis historical roots and the diversity of the researcher's paradigms on hypnosis as a phenomenon add complexity to the task of interweaving hypnosis in the therapy.
In this special issue, an attempt will be made to present and to demonstrate some models of implementation of hypnosis in psychotherapy that dominate modern hypnotherapy and can be used for appropriate incorporation of hypnosis in the clinical practice.
