There is no restriction on paper length, provided that the text is concise and comprehensive. Authors should present their results in as much detail as possible, as reviewers are encouraged to emphasize scientific rigor and reproducibility.

Archiving: full-text archived in CLOCKSS.

Rapid publication: manuscripts are undertaken in 6.1 days from acceptance to publication (median values for papers published in this journal in the first half of 2020, 1-2 days of FREE language polishing time is also included in this period). A first decision provided to authors of manuscripts submitted to this journal are approximately 3.5 weeks (median values) after submission.

About This Topic

This Special Edition seeks thoughtful papers of any type that address physical therapy applications for promoting healthy aging across the lifespan. Papers on hip fracture, frailty, falls, osteoarthritis, scoliosis, and osteoporosis that focus on home based exercise and other forms of therapy either for purposes of prevention or treatment, as well as papers describing the use of technology to communicate with clients as well as to treat them are specifically sought.
